Michael F. Streicker is the President of Sentinel Real Estate and sits on the firm’s Executive Committee and the Investment Committee. His day-to-day responsibilities include oversight of Sentinel’s international offices, global business development, US portfolio management and asset management. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2003, Mr. Streicker held an Associate position in the London and Chicago offices of Madison Dearborn Partners. Mr. Streicker holds an AB degree from Princeton University and an MBA degree from Columbia Business School. Additionally, Mr. Streicker is a member of the Board of Trustees at The Children’s Storefront, a private tuition-free grade school located in Harlem, New York, and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER
Leland J. Roth is Sentinel’s Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the Executive Committee. He is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, accounting and operations, including client and corporate accounting; cash management; payroll and personnel; IT services; risk management and taxation. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1994, Mr. Roth was a Manager in the New York Real Estate Services Group of Arthur Andersen since 1986. Mr. Roth received a BBA from Bernard Baruch College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the New York State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPA.

Karen F. Hallock is a Managing Director in charge of Sentinel's Research & Communications Department and a member of the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1989, she was an Associate at Lepercq Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm specializing in hotel properties. At Lepercq, she was responsible for all aspects of financial analysis for the firm's development subsidiary. Ms. Hallock received an AB from Vassar College and has completed coursework at the Real Estate Institute at New York University. She is a Board Member Emeritus of the Lutheran High School Association of Nassau and Suffolk Counties and is a member of the Long Island Lutheran Memorial Endowment Fund Board.

 
Karen Charde

INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MEMBER
Karen Charde is a Managing Director responsible for oversight of all asset and property management for Sentinel’s residential portfolio and a member of the Investment Committee. She joined Sentinel in 1998 as an accountant and has served as an Asset Manager in several regions and most recently as a Regional Director of Real Estate responsible for asset and property management for Sentinel’s high-rise/mid-rise residential portfolio group. Prior to joining Sentinel, she was a Supervisor with Kostin, Ruffkess & Co., LLC, a regional certified public accounting firm in Connecticut. Ms. Charde holds a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany and is a Certified Public Accountant in both Connecticut and New York.

Robert Leniart is a Managing Director responsible for capital projects and sustainability efforts across Sentinel’s portfolio. He is a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Leniart joined Sentinel in 1983 as an Accountant and has served as an Asset Manager and a Regional Director before taking on his current role. He received a BA in Accounting at Rutgers University.

Brian Ritter is a Managing Director responsible for portfolio management of several of Sentinel’s commingled funds and separate accounts, as well as asset management for Sentinel's New York City portfolio. He is a member of the Investment Committee. Since 2006, Mr. Ritter has been responsible for Sentinel’s New York City residential transaction activity. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2003, he was an Analyst at ING Clarion Partners in the asset management group. Mr. Ritter received a BS in Finance and Insurance from Northeastern University.

Nicholas Stein is a Managing Director responsible for portfolio management of two of Sentinel’s commingled funds, as well as the firm's corporate legal department. He is a member of the Investment Committee and chairs Sentinel's Sustainability Committee. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2007, Mr. Stein was an Associate in the Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance practice of the law firm White & Case, LLP. Mr. Stein received a BS degree in International Security Studies from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the New York State Bar and is a licensed New York State real estate broker. Mr. Stein is a member of the Board of Directors of Grand Street Settlement.

 
George Tietjen

George Tietjen is a Managing Director responsible for portfolio management for one of Sentinel’s commingled funds and several separate accounts. He is a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1990, he served as Controller for Grayside Realty Corporation from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, Mr. Tietjen was on the audit staff of Kenneth Leventhal & Company and Ernst & Young, providing accounting and tax services to real estate clients. Mr. Tietjen is a Certified Public Accountant and received a BS in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Real Estate Investment from New York University. He is also a member of the Board of Episcopal Real Estate of Long Island LLC and the Board of Managers of Camp DeWolf Inc. and its Treasurer.

John H. Zoeller is a Managing Director and Sentinel's Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to rejoining Sentinel in 2002, Mr. Zoeller was Vice President and Controller of Starwood Ceruzzi LLC, an investment venture affiliate of Starwood Capital Corp. From 1994 through 2000, Mr. Zoeller was a Vice President and Controller at Sentinel responsible for commercial and residential accounts. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1994, Mr. Zoeller was Controller of Property Management for Koeppel Tener Riguardi, Inc. from 1991 through 1994 and Controller in the real estate division of Integrated Resources Inc. from 1986 through 1991. In addition, Mr. Zoeller was an Accounting Manager in Public Accounting from 1981 through 1986. Mr. Zoeller received a BA in Accounting from St. John’s University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Connell J. Watters is a Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2000, Mr. Watters had been an Assistant General Counsel with PaineWebber Incorporated since 1989. He earned his BS from the State University of New York at Brockport, a JD from Fordham University School of Law and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University Graduate School of Business. He is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut and is a member of the American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.

Chief Technology Officer

Scott Olds is a Senior Vice President and Sentinel's Chief Technology Officer. Since joining Sentinel in 1997, Mr. Olds has held several positions of increasing technical and managerial responsibility within the IT Department, and he has played a key role in defining, implementing and managing Sentinel’s IT strategy. Prior to joining Sentinel, he was a Senior Application Consultant for MicroBank Software, a Corporate Account Manager with Nielsen Marketing Research, a Project Manager with Information Resources and a Software Developer with NPD/Nielsen. Mr. Olds holds a BA and JD from Hofstra University and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Scott Arden is a Managing Director responsible for Sentinel's North American capital raising efforts. Prior to joining Sentinel, he was a Managing Director at Hodes Weill & Associates, a global placement and advisory firm, where he worked on opportunities in Latin America, Asia and the US. Mr. Arden has prior experience in risk management and investment banking as well as stock, commodity and currency trading. He received a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland and is a member of PREA and INREV.

Scott Barsky is a First Vice President responsible for Sentinel’s North American capital raising and investor relations activities. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2021, Scott spent over nine years at Torchlight Investors, a US real estate debt investment manager, where he was a Vice President on the investor relations team. He began his career at Bank of America in risk management. Scott holds a BA in Economics and History from the University of Virginia and is a member of PREA.

Martin J. Cawley is a Managing Director and the Regional Director of Real Estate responsible for commercial property transactions and management, including office, retail and industrial investments. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1994, he held various acquisitions and asset management positions with Evergreen Property Capital Corporation and OmniSwiss Properties, Ltd. Previously, he was an Investment Officer with Chase Investors Management Corporation. Mr. Cawley received a BS from the State University of New York, an MS in Finance from Pace University and has completed coursework with the Appraisal Institute.

Jack Granahan is a Senior Vice President located in Seattle, Washington providing client services to Sentinel’s west coast clients. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1978, he was the Northwest Institutional Sales Manager for Smith Barney. Mr. Granahan graduated from St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia with a BS degree. He is active in many professional organizations related to Taft-Hartley and public plan sponsors, including IFEBP, NAST, NCTR, NASRA, SACRS and PREA. He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the King County Labor Agency and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Washington.

Georgina Duckworth is a Director of Client Services/Marketing for Australia and New Zealand at Sentinel Fund Manager Australia. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Ms. Duckworth served as a fundraising executive for non-profit organizations in London and New York and had worked in the real estate industry in Australia. She was recently appointed to the position of Director of Business & Arts with the American Australian Association. Ms. Duckworth received a Bachelor of International Business degree from Flinders University.

Max Berkelder is a Managing Director at Sentinel Real Estate Netherlands. He joined Sentinel in 2014. From 2006 to 2014, Mr. Berkelder was a Managing Director at IBUS Asset Management, a real estate investment firm in The Netherlands. From 1994 to 2006, he worked for investment bank Kempen & Co as Director of the listed real estate securities brokerage unit. Mr. Berkelder studied Business Economics at the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands and has a degree as a Chartered European Financial Analyst (CEFA).

Erik van Langeveld is a Director at Sentinel Real Estate Netherlands, responsible for Portfolio Management. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2019, Mr. Langeveld had his own real estate investment advisory firm advising various stock-listed and private real estate investment firms. He has also worked as Head of Asset Management for Vesteda Investment Management, a firm that specializes in residential real estate. Mr. van Langeveld studied in Utrecht, The Netherlands and holds a law degree in Economic Public and Corporate Law. He followed a master program at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
